Becky Myers
Becky has more than 20 years of broad experience in public relations, journalism, marketing communications, public affairs and community relations. She serves a variety of clients including high tech, construction, real estate, public and non-profit sectors, providing media and public relations expertise and guiding the creative story-building process to help these companies differentiate themselves.
Prior to starting her consultancy, Becky was a communications manager at Texas Instruments, where she helped to launch numerous entrepreneurial start-ups within the company. She consistently put her clients products “on the map” with key industry media and analysts. Becky also developed application notes and Web content and managed the development of white papers and technical guides.
Prior to working at TI, Becky worked for the City of Houston as a public information officer – both in Mayor Lee Brown’s office and in the Planning and Development Department, where she oversaw communications for city and community initiatives. She worked with elected officials and community leaders as well as media outlets on public involvement/education programs and managed community outreach efforts as well.
Clients served include AT&T, Atos Origin, Commerciant, Getronics, mindWireless, Uson, Knowbility/AIR-Houston, Linbeck, Houston Apartment Association, the Harris County Toll Road Authority and Houston Technology Center.
From 1987 to 1992, Becky was a business reporter at the Waterbury Republican, a daily newspaper in Connecticut.
Becky graduated from the University of Texas with a Bachelor’s degree in journalism. She has served on the boards of the Houston Volunteer Lawyers Program and AIR-Houston. Becky is a PADI-certified scuba instructor.

Ania Czarnecka
Ania Czarnecka is an account executive at Magnolia
Sky Communications. Previously, she was a public relations coordinator at
Naumann Blanchard LLC.
Prior to starting her career in public relations, Ania was a child psychologist at the Romuald Traugutt Primary School
and Stanislaw Wyspianski Middle School in Krakow, Poland, where she provided
therapy for students, advised teachers and parents, and worked with the
police, probation officers and the family court in cases involving young
offenders and domestic violence. She also diagnosed learning disorders and
adjusted educational standards for students with cognitive disabilities,
organized educational workshops and training for children, teachers and
parents, and designed and managed a Quality Management System, including
surveys and data analysis.
Ania also worked as a Polish-English-Polish
translator for several major translating agencies in Poland, specializing in
medical and pharmaceutical translations and as an English teacher at Helen
Doron Early English in Krakow, teaching children aged 15 months to 8 years
through specially developed methods.
Ania
is an experienced speaker and educator. In Poland, she presented on a
variety of topics, including interpersonal communication, assertiveness
training, prevention of risky behaviors in children and adolescents, and
child development. She worked
as a teaching assistant both at the Jagiellonian University and the
University
of Houston, teaching neuropsychology and public speaking respectively.
Moreover,
her article on gender differences in brain anatomy was published in the
journal
of the Polish Academy of Science and she contributed a chapter on
cognitive deficits resulting from a brain stroke to a university
textbook for physical therapy students.
Most recently, a paper coauthored with Dr. Lan Ni, Exploring the Effects of Organization-Public Relationship and
Communication Coorientation on Organizational Reputation in a Higher
Education Setting, was awarded the Institute for Public Relations Top Three Paper Award at the 2011 International Public Relations Research Conference in Miami.
Ania
graduated from the University of Houston with a Master’s degree in
Communication – Public Relations Studies. She also earned a Master’s degree in
Psychology at the Jagiellonian University, Poland, where she completed a
one-year certification in business and management as well.
Ania
is a current member of the Public Relations Society of America Houston Chapter.
She is a trustee of the Public
Relations Foundation of Houston, where she co-chairs the PRFH Scholarship and
the Silent Auction.
She will serve as Foundation's vice president in 2012.
In
her free time, she loves to travel and recently became a PADI certified diver.
